The long-abandoned Southwest Twin Drive-In on Third Street was filled with life once again on Saturday.

Community members and volunteers from local nonprofit organizations rolled up their sleeves at the former Southwest Twin Drive-In property Saturday, June 24, for the “Southwest Twin: Plot Twist” community cleanup.

Now thanks to a $1 million match from both the City of Memphis and Shelby County, plans are moving forward to bring the space back to life.
